There is nothing we appreciate and enjoy more than seeing CLO user creations. Over the past months, we held our very first global 3D Design competition. This gave users from all over the world the oppertunity to present their designs and compete through a series of themed challenges. Participants from over 35 different countries, including the US, Canada, Australia, Korea, Japan, China, Vietnam, Thailand, Israel, Germany, Denmark, and Bulgaria took part!
The challenges implemented themes in line with emerging hot topics as well as the paradigm shift occurring within the fashion industry. The theme of the first challenge was COVID-19 and the submissions included creative 3D works such as masks and protective clothing. 90 participants, who passed the first challenge, are currently awaiting the results of the second design challenge which is themed Post COVID-19 Era and Sustainable Fashion. The submissions are being showcased on our community and digital portfolio platform CLOLLAB.
The winners of the competition will be chosen based on a public popularity vote via CLOLLAB and through a global jury consisting of renowned industry specialists! Among the global juries are: Janis Sne, 3D concept artist and Apparel Designer at Adidas, Arc’teryx’s 3D Team, Marc Cain’s 3D Development Team, Hajin Kwon, Associate Professor at Seoul Women’s University, Jung Oh, Designer at Studio Paul & Company and Target’s 3D Apparel & Accessories Team.

Prizes include a Wacom Cintiq 16 as well as cash rewards of up to 2,300 USD! The winners will be announced on August 31.
